Chamber vocal lyrics of N. N. Cherepnin and symbolism

The ways of realization of symbolist poetry and aesthetics in N.N.Cherepnin’s vocal lyrics are revealed in the article. The author examines classical and modernistic poetic principles in composer’s creative work. Special attention is paid to the use of K.Balmont’s and F.Tyutchev’s poetry.
