About Shostakovich’s fugue: analytic version

Shostakovich’s Fugue in a-moll from the cycle «24 preludes and fugues» is analyzed in details in the article. The author considers the composition as the example of fusion of Shostakovich’s «polyphonic theatre» and strict fugue-composition in Bach’s tradition.
