Edison Denisov's «Blue notebook»: 25 years from the date of the first performance in Rostov-on-Don

The article is devoted to the anniversary of performing in Rostov-on-Don an extraordinary composition «Blue notebook» by Edison Denisov, a recognized master of the Soviet vanguard. The author of the article analyses the composition in respect to the interpretation of vanguard tendencies. The aim of the article is to display features typical of the composer’s artistic method as well.
