Classical Music in Unusual Conditions (Systematization of Concert Forms)

Musical performance practice of recent decades suggests that the concept of «concert» requires rethinking. The forms of presenting classical music all the more insistent demonstrate a combination of academic and non-academic attributes tradition. In this situation, the works of great masters fall into a new environment, endowed with new qualities and new forms of perception. This article is an attempt to systematize the most striking phenomena of contemporary concert practice.
