Having ears, can you hear it… (Urgent problems of the contemporary ear training)

The article is dedicated to methodic problems of the contemporary solfeggio (ear training). Following the history of solfeggio, the author shows its transformation and reveals the factors which influence its substance. Close attention to a psychological matter of the music hearing, particular qualities of music communication and professional activities of musicians lead us to understanding the immediate tasks of solfeggio as a pedagogic discipline, which participates in shaping a musician at all grades of music education.
