Don Cossack song in the works by Leonid Klinichev (on example of the choral arrangements)

Many works by the famous Russian composer Leonid Klinichev are connected with the history and culture of the Don region. The basis of the author’s style of such works is a dialog with traditions of Cossack song culture. Genre of choral arrangement is a fertile ground for finding a creative experience in the field of interaction of the principles relevant to different systems of thought – academic and folklore music.
