Publications

Ekaterina N. Dulova is the author of two monographs and over a hundred scientific and scientific-methodical works, including scientific publications in "The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians" (London), " Die Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart " (Kassel), "Belarusian Encyclopedia" (Minsk), "Encyclopedia of Tchaikovsky" (Moscow) and others.

Activities

Ekaterina N. Dulova manages the research and scientific-methodical work at the Department of Music Theory in the framework of the collective initiative theme "Theoretical issues of Teoretyczny it language of music other polowy XX – poczatku XXI."

As leader of the scientific and scientific-pedagogical schools in Belarusian theoretical musicology, she has prepared 5 candidates of arts, more than 10 masters of arts, about 20 specialists-musicologists.

E. N. Dulova is the Chairman of the Expert Council No. 27 of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus on art and cultural studies. She performs the duties of the Chairman at the Scientific Council of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, is a member of the Editorial Board of the scientific-theoretical journal "Bulletin of the Belarusian State Academy of Music", the Editorial Board of the New Complete Works by P. I. Tchaikovsky (Moscow, Russia), Scientific Advisory Board of the St. Petersburg P. I. Tchaikovsky State Conservatoire journal "Opera Musicologica", the Editorial Board of the scientific journal of the National P. I. Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine "Ukrainian Musicology". She participated in editorial boards of scientific publications " New Complete Works by P. I. Tchaikovsky" and "Encyclopedia of Tchaikovsky" (Moscow).

E. N. Dulova often performs with scientific presentations at international symposia, conferences and seminars, participates in the activities of a number of councils in the Republic of Belarus: she is the Chairman at the Council of the Special President Fund of the Republic of Belarus for Talented Youth Support, the member of the National Council for the Musical Arts, the member of the Presidium of the Council of Higher Educational Institutions Rectors of the Republic of Belarus.

During 2010-2014 she provided the membership and participation of the Belarussian State Academy of Music in the work of international organizations: the Association of European Conservatoires, Music Academies and High Schools of Music (AEC), the Cymbals World Association (CWA), the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA), International Musicological Society (IMS) and the Network International for Cooperation in the Arts (NICA).

E. N. Dulova is the member of organizing committees of several international conferences and international competitions such as the International L. Alexander Competition of Vocalists, International Piano Competitions "Minsk-2000", "Minsk-2005", "Minsk-2010", International M. Elsky Competition of Performers on Stringed Bowed Instruments, National I. Zhinovich Outdoor Competition of Performers on Folk Instruments. In 2014, she was the Chairman of the organizing Committee of two major academic meetings (XXIII International Academic Readings in Memory of L. Mukharinskaya and International Academic Conference "Belarusian Performing Arts in the Context of Culture"), also worked as the member of organizing Committees of the V International Sientific-Practical Conference "Traditions and Current State of Culture and Arts", the Yuri Semenyako National Competition of Composers, the International Festival of Academic and Orthodox Music in Memory of V. Rovdo, International Piano competition "Minsk-2014". She was the Chairman of the jury of the III Republican Contest "National Theatre Award" in the category "Musical Theatre".

Awards

For labor achievements she was awarded with the Diploma of the Republic of Belarus Ministry of Culture (2007), Diploma of the Republic of Belarus Ministry of Education (2009), Diploma of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2009), the Badge "Jubilee Medal" in honor of the 80th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2011), Gratitude of the President of the Republic of Belarus A. G. Lukashenko (2012), Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus (2012). Also she was awarded with the title "Honorary Professor of the National Music Academy of Ukraine"(2013). In 2014 E. N. Dulova was awarded with the Gratitude of the Republic of Belarus Minister of Culture.
