The Dagestan music culture of the post-Soviet era: the main tendencies
The series of theoretical, methodological, and practical questions raised by Dagestan’s music art in the post-Soviet period including the definition of social functions of national music culture, the changes in genre and type morphology, style, the comprehension of national music in the context of all-Union and international cultural exchanges, the problem of the formation of regional music market are considered in the article.
