F. Busoni and Liszt’s tradition of Bach’s clavier music interpretation

The successive connection between F. Busoni’s creative work and Liszt’s tradition and Busoni’s innovation in the interpretation of Bach’s clavier music are considered in the article. The evolution of Busoni’s principles of interpretation that formed the traditions of post-romantic tendencies in Bach’s works performing traditions of the XX century is traced.
