Homeland belcanto: where to study?

The article deals with the professional education of singers in Italy. The author examines the educational system of the state institutes and of the private academies. The analysis lies in the sphere of planning of individual and classroom lessons and projects of Conservatoires of Milan, Rome and Trento. The author cites Opera Studio of Academy Santa Cecilia in Rome and Academy of Opera Singers of La Scala Theatre as examples of education in the Academies of Singing Art.
