Azerbaijan symphony on the boundary of 1960–1970s: main tendencies

The article is devoted to crisis situation in Azerbaijan symphonic music at the boundary of 1960–1970s. The author brings to light some outlooking directions of development of national symphony which were outlined by Q. Qarayev (The Third symphony) and A. Alizade, A. Melikov, J. Hajiyev in their following symphonic cycles.
