Complexes of pianistic facture as a source and means of artistic interpretation in jazz
The article is devoted to the problems of artistic interpretation in the sphere of piano jazz improvisation. Based on the fact that the improvisational creative work has interpretational character, the author adds the process of improvisation to the number of traditionally studied stages of musical interpretation. As the result of research the essential role of musical facture is revealed to become not only an important mean of organizing of intonation in improvisations of jazz pianists, but also an object of artistic interpretation, along with the musical-imaginative characteristics of the source theme. The conclusions allow expanding the sphere of application of the «artistic interpretation» concept and taking a fresh glance at creative work of jazz.
