Advices for beginners-accompanists (specific character of work in the vocal class)
The article is devoted to the secrets of mastery of vocal class accompanist that are passed from generation to generation, from the recognized masters to young pianists. The author characterizes in detail the accompanist’s role in the process of rehearsal work and concert performance of a singer. The most important professional qualities of an accompanist are examined – his strictly specialized and universally professional competences, such technological modes which favour his perfection. Some recommendations are addressed to students that comprehend the fundamental principles of the profession and teachers of the class of accompaniment interested in preserving and passing on the best traditions of the national accompaniment school.
