Features of orchestra style in works of crimean tatar composers of the first half of the 20th century

The article introduces the principles of genesis, development and features of the orchestral style of works by Crimean Tatar composers of the first half of the twentieth century. The author attempted to identify genres that were used by composers in their compositions based on the song and dance culture of the Crimean Tatars. The symphonic suite, being one of the main genres of those years, was close to their mentality because of its democratic character, which facilitated the dialogue between the composer and listener. This genre most of all matched the principles of implementing the national material in the works of the Crimean Tatar composers of those years. The relevance of the research is attributed to the attempt to analyze and identify the characteristics of the symphonic works of the Crimean Tatar professional music founders such as Asan Refatov, Yagya Sherfedinov, Abibulla Kavri. The aim of the study is to analyze the works of the suite genre in the artistic heritage of the Crimean Tatar composers of the first half of the twentieth century in the context of the Crimean Tatar folk song and dance art. The methodological basis is the study of contemporary Russian musicologists on the problems of translating folk-genre material into the symphonic suite, as well as on the exploration of modern music as a part of the search for new solutions in the implementation of the set tasks.
