The article is devoted to the jubilee of Krikor Dzeronovich Khurdayan, Honoured Worker of Arts of Russian Federation, Professor of Folk Instruments Department of Rostov Conservatoire, the founder and the head of folk instruments orchestra «Don» of Rostov regional Philharmonic and the students’ orchestra of the Conservatoire. The author of the publication traces his course of life and creative way.
